Student Showcase General Information

Apply to Present a Student Showcase!

Student Showcase

Students today are breaking the mold and thinking outside the box with technology. They use tools and resources to address the Alabama Technology Standards in exciting and innovative ways. We invite you to bring a group of your students to demonstrate their activities. Located to the left of the ramp at the end of the Skywalk going into the BJCC from the Sheraton, these student teams will be present Wednesday and Thursday to talk and answer questions. Come visit with these teams and let them impress and inspire you.

A student showcase is an informal, all-day demonstration in an open-house, science-fair format featuring students actively engaged in classroom projects and activities. It is an opportunity to demonstrate innovative or exemplary uses of technology in the classroom. A showcase is not intended to include formal lecture-style presentations. Any program or activity that allows students to actively demonstrate how they use technology in their own classroom environment is appropriate.
