Students will learn the order of the planets, the size of the planets, and some characteristics of each planet.This lesson incorporates technology, reading, writing, and art. This lesson plan was created as a result of the Girls Engaged in Math and Science, GEMS Project funded by the Malone Family Foundation funded by the Malone Family Foundation.

With the addition of a side and an angle, students will be able to determine the difference among triangles, quadrilaterals, pentagons, and hexagon.
