Description: The lesson will begin with a lecture on the importance of effective interview techniques. A technology-based project will be assigned for students to use the Internet to gather information and then create either a slideshow presentation, a newsletter, or a web page that reflects information and tips on presenting yourself to an prospective employer. This lesson will follow units on basic keyboarding, word processing, presentations, desktop publishing, and web page creation. This lesson is part of a unit on using technology to explore careers.
