Title: Bullies Beware
Description: "Bullies Beware" reminds students of all the people who have died because of bullying and that this is not the way to handle being bullied. It focuses on what a bully is, what comprises violence, and how a victim can feel better about them self. A survey is given out that will later give a school profile on bullying. "Reality Matters" handouts are dispersed, discussed and compared to our local school.

The Bully Bunch: Types of Bullying (Episode #1)
In this first episode of the animated The Bully Bunch series, Alex and Lexi talk about the four types of bullying: physical, verbal, social, and cyber. A brief description of each type is given. Following the explanation, a short quiz is given by the animated counselor and Bully Bunch sponsor, Mrs. Powell. (This series is designed to educate middle and high school students about bullying in an informal and entertaining way.)
Tornadoes of 2011: Birmingham Edition
The students and community of Birmingham, Alabama and in particular Wilkerson Middle School were affected by the vicious storms that raged through Alabama at the end of April. The students of Wilkerson Middle School needed an outlet for their feelings of fear, anger, sadness, and confusion. This podcast provided them with not only that outlet, but also an opportunity to express themselves in regards to their safety, and the survival of their community. As the comments are sometimes off the cuff and completely child created, there is no transcript, only the mention of the student's names.
"Stop Bullying" is a three minute podcast illustrating an example of physical bullying, and how a person can prevent or solve the problem. It was created, produced, and edited by 7th grade science students.

Bullies Beware 2 gives tips on how to stop bullying. Since all bullies are different, different methods are used for different people. Then this vodcast gives ideas on what a witness should do if they see someone being bullied. Lots of people stand around doing nothing when bullying occurs. It's important to help the people being bullied to get rid of bullying in a school.
