Title: Exponents Rule
Description: During this lesson, eighth grade students will be introduced to the properties of integer exponents (i.e. multiplying powers, dividing powers, raising a power to a power). The students will view a slideshow presentation that will introduce them to the three rules. The students will use the attached graphic organizer to record the rules and examples.

Multiplying and Dividing Monomials
The purpose of this podcast is to explain the rules for multiplying and dividing powers. Each slide gives an example of how to multiply or divide along with an explanation. This podcast could be used in conjunction with the foldable in the above lesson for students to use to record their notes for multiplying and dividing powers.
