Alabama Library Media Online
Alabama Department of Education |
The Alabama Department of Education advocates exemplary library media specialists and library media programs in public schools in Alabama to ensure that students, faculty, and staff have access "to information that is appropriate to student development and features diversity in perspective, format, and interest" (Literacy Partners, 1999, p. 3).
This website has been developed to provide you with valuable resources you need as a Library Media Specialist and a place to come when you have questions on library issues. We hope you find this a helpful resource and value your suggestions and opinions. |
We regret to inform you that for the 2009-10 fiscal year, Library Enhancement Funds have been completely cut. |
