We are so excited because Jan Brett visited our school on March 2, 2009 for Read Across America Day!!! She is one of my favorite children’s authors. Every year, I use her website to do an Author Study with my class. A part of our Technology Course of Study requires us to teach our students how to use email. So, I thought we would email Jan Brett to ask her questions about her book. After emailing her, our class took a look at her website. Every year, Jan has a game to win books and a library visit to your school. We saw her matching game where you match the characters to the books. The students helped me to match the characters to the correct book. As a result, our class won a visit to our school with Jan Brett.
