The podcast serves as an example for students before they create a podcast. After the students watch the podcast, the students will be assigned to a letter of the alphabet. The students will research an influential person, landmark, or event in Alabama to represent each letter of the alphabet. The podcasts will be combined to create a class podcast.

This is a podcast created by a student for her assignment on researching a Famous Black Alabamian during the month of February. She chose to research and report on W.C. Handy.
