Description: Students will investigate what happens to the perimeter of a polygon when the area stays the same. Students will investigate what happens to the area when the perimeter stays the same.This lesson plan was created as a result of the Girls Engaged in Math and Science, GEMS Project funded by the Malone Family Foundation.

Description: Following a unit on Greek mythology and mythological heroes, students design and maintain a website that features everyday heroes. Students submit candidates based on their everyday encounters with people in the community.
Subject: Character Education (K - 12) Title: Let's Be Friends
Description: Buddies, pals, amigos - whatever you call them, friends are an important part of life. These beginning-of-the-year unit activities will give kindergarten students an opportunity to consider what friendship is all about.
