Title: European History Art Presentations
Description: The students are assigned an artist from the period of European history that the class is studying at the time of the assignment.  The students will research their artist and write a one page paper giving the general background information on the artist.  Additionally, the student will create a visual presentation of the artists' work and make a first person presentation to the class lasting not more than ten minutes.

Title: Ancient Greece On Parade
Description: Everyone loves a parade!   As an end to a unit on Ancient Greece, students will  produce an Ancient Greek shoebox float celebrating one of the cultural contributions of the civilization.

Description: This Xpeditions lesson helps students differentiate between ancient Greek and ancient Roman practices of land and natural resource use and assess the extent to which the Romans adopted Greek practices. They research Greek and Roman land use and illustrate maps with Greek and Roman land use practices.

Description: In this Xpeditions student activity, students design a new subway station in Athens that includes a museum of ancient artifacts, artworks, and ruins. For background information, they examine a map and an article about an actual Metro Museum in Athens.
