Title: To Infinity and Beyond... Magazine of Planetary Studies
Description: This is a student led activity in which students have to accomplish the task of choosing the most entertaining way to relay written expository information. Art/self expression along with technology are utilized to develop a classroom magazine while learning about the planets and associated technology. Students work in cooperative learning groups to complete this activity.This lesson plan was created as a result of the Girls Engaged in Math and Science, GEMS Project funded by the Malone Family Foundation.

Title: Robots in Space
Description: During this lesson students learn the history of robotics in space exploration. They use their creativity to develop a robot. They learn about different career opportunities by communicating with robot specialists at the Johnson Space Center through a video conference.
