Description: The Sports Drinks and Nanotechnology module includes hands-on inquiry-based activities. This module introduces students to the concept of nanotechnology and its application in real world events.  Through a simple experiment  using a nanogold colloid as a biosensor, students compare various concentration levels of electrolytes in sports drinks.

Description: This is an introductory interactive lesson in which students use the pH scale and perform experiments to see reactions between an acid and a base.

Title: Acids and Bases Lesson/Lab
Description: This lesson will allow students to perform pH tests that determine if various solutions are acids or bases (cognitive). Students will test common household solutions such as water, vinegar, milk, and orange juice use pH indicator strips. One the pH strip turns a particular color, it reveals the H and OH ions of the solution.,
