Title: Body Tissue Lab
Description: Students will complete a virtual lab on Human Body Tissues. This lab can be found by going to http://wps.aw.com/bc_marieb_ehap_8/25/6525/1670654.cw/index.html and clicking on "Histology" under the "Chapter Features." In this lab, students will be in groups of two in a computer lab. Students will go to the website listed above to view and draw specific body tissues that are outlined in the student e-lab that they will have to download. At the end of the assignment, students will make a portfolio of their tissues. Students will be assessed using a e-rubric that they will also have to download.This lesson plan was created as a result of the Girls Engaged in Math and Science University, GEMS-U Project.
