It associates the relationships between the rock record and historical events that created the landforms on our planet. It explains how the rock record can be interpreted by geologists.This lesson plan was created as a result of the Girls Engaged in Math and Science, GEMS Project, funded by the Malone Family Foundation.

Description: This lesson allows students to view and draw conclusions on the importance of life in the ocean. It uses student created movies to explore what is going on, as well as identifying the zones and diverse life associated with the oceans. The teacher will be able to facilitate mult-faceted questions concerning the oceans and all the interactions of life within it.This lesson plan was created as a result of the Girls Engaged in Math and Science, GEMS Project funded by the Malone Family Foundation.
