Description: Students will develop reading fluency using vocabulary from the book Why Mosquitos Buzz in People's Ears by Leo and Diane Dillon. Students will participate in reading the story using the reader's theatre strategy. After being introduced to multiple-syllable words students, will practice building fluency by reading those words in the context of the story.
