Description: In this lesson, students will use the target language to correspond with a native speaker. This is an excellent activity for students in second semester of second year or higher.
Subject: Languages Other Than English (Foreign Languages) (9 - 12), or Technology Education (9 - 12) Title: Foreign Language Semester or Chapter Review
Description: This is an easy way to review for foreign language semester exams at any level using a number of hands-on and interactive activities, including some which are technology-based. This could also be adapted to chapter tests. The lesson is recommended for classrooms with 3 or more computers. Students will circulate to various stations, which can be adapted to the content being studied.

Description: In a semester-long project, foreign language students begin a penpal correspondence exchange with a student from another country. Through this exchange, students gain a greater insight into the culture and language of another country, improve their communication skills in the target language, and compare their lives to those of students their own ages in another country by discussing common topics.
