Title: I Am What I Learn- Video Scholarship Essay Contest
Description: This lesson provides students with the opportunity to explore a variety of available scholarships to determine which scholarships may be sources of funding for college.  Students will create a video essay which will be used to apply for a college scholarship.  This lesson plan contains a financial aid component.

Title: FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) for Dummies Brochure
Description: This lesson gives students the opportunity to take a hands-on approach to learning about FAFSA. Students will research and compile information and graphics to create a professional, tri-fold brochure containing information about FAFSA using a variety of software programs. Description: Students will learn how to gather information, design, and create a presentation, publication, and a web page that reflect a desire for the students to make a difference in their world.  Essential components of each multimedia will be demonstrated.  Final products will be created and presented to their classmates for evaluation.

Description: Students (working with a partner) will create a business. This project can be used at the end of the year as a major project or divided up into smaller lessons. Project incorporates all of the content standards.

Title: What is Commerce and Information Technology, FBLA and DECA? Kiosk It!
Description: Students will set up a kiosk which has been created to display a multimedia presentation about the school's Commerce and Information Technology Department and student organizations. The kiosk demonstration may take place during the school's Open House, Freshmen Orientation, etc. This is a Commerce and Information Technology Project-Based Lesson Plan.
