Description: This lesson is applicable to any story or novel in literature. The students will be introduced to twelve literary elements through a podcast. They will then be divided into small groups to complete activities involving story and literary elements.

Description: Students write and digitally publish a weekly newsletter using Google Docs. The content will be a synthesis of interesting issues from their class as well as some outside news and issues which directly impact students. The target audience will be students, faculty, and administration, as well as parents and the larger community.
