Overview:
The great visual pictures and demonstrations included in this podcast are sure to catch the interest of young astronomers. Two sixth grade girls explore and demonstrate the eight phases of the moon. First they explain why we have moon phases. Next, the girls described each moon phase and provide visual representations through pictures. Finally, they demonstrate a short hands-on activity students can complete themselves to display each phase of the moon.
