Governors Commission on Quality Teaching in cooperation with Hayden Middle School, Blount County Schools.
This is an example of an AMSTI lesson utilizing catapults. Students work together to determine how force and weight impact the distance that coins can be catapulted. The lesson provides examples of collaborative and hands-on learning undergirded by individual and group interaction with the instructor.
