Overview:

This podcast gives students an overview of the most common classifications of animals. It is a teacher narrated video that allows students to see pictures and examples of different traits  of animals. The pictures will show students characteristics of the types of animals and their habitats. This video is an introduction to our science unit Animals 2x2. First grade students will expand on this podcast by creating their own podcast on a chosen animal.
