States of Matter: Solids, Liquids, and Gases
http://www.harcourts...
In classical chemistry, there are three states of matter; each determined by the distance between the molecules. Solids hold its shape and its volume is fixed by the shape. Liquids have weaker molecular forces than solids and will take the shape of the container. Gas fills its container, taking both the shape and volume of the container. The website allows students to determine the molecular difference between the three states of matter.
