Title: Photography: Past to Present
This lesson is part of a Photography Unit for eighth graders. After learning about the history of photography, the goal is to combine older photography processes with new digital processes. Students will make their own pinhole cameras, take pictures with them and develop their negative images in the darkroom. From there, students will use scanners and computers to invert their negative images into positives and create a digital image, manipulating the new image using image software.
