Title: Keep Talking!
This activity energizes students and enables students to practice listening and speaking. Students will use improvisational skills to speak on any given topic for one minute without stopping. This activity will enhance students' ability to think quickly on their feet, improve their social skills, and prepare them for play script writing

Title: Get Yourself in Order!
Students identify events that form a sequence and demonstrate this by showing the steps in a common task. The students will improvise in front of their peers who will attempt to identify the tasks they are improvising. Students will use personal experience and imagination to perform their improvisations.
Standard(s): [AED] TH (5) 4: Compare theatrical characteristics of pantomime, improvisation, and scripted drama.
