Title: Who's Side Are You On? 
Description: In this lesson, students will compare and contrast two versions of The Three Little Pigs. Students will use the Story Kit app on iPads in groups to recreate the story of The Three Little Pigs and The True Story of the Three Little Pigs. Students will write a brief explanation of which story they believe is true and why. Students will "judge" in "court" which version of the story is true based on evidence provided.

Description: Tagxedo is a tool for generating word clouds from user provided text. The clouds allows you to emphasize words by altering their text size. You can create your clouds with different fonts, layouts, themes, and color schemes. You have the freedom to create different cloud shapes, such as animals Once complete, you can save, share with others electronically or print. This site could be used at the end of a lesson adjectives. Assign students to select a word cloud shape from Tagxedo and fill in with adjectives to describe that shape. For example if the student chooses the elephant, they would use words like enormous, large, big, grey, huge, smart, hungry, loud, slow, thirsty, intelligent, etc.

Description: Smore is a service for creating webpages, brochures, and online flyers. There are many design and content options. Students can add elements like images, videos, sounds, events, and locations to their pages by simply dragging them and dropping them on the page. Students will be assigned different countries and make brochures about them using Smore. They will be required to have images of their assigned countries’ national flags, historical figures, and leaders. They will also be required to have national anthem background music and a short informative video about their countries. Their brochures will share what continent the country is on, what major oceans surround it, and what native language is spoken.

Description:   Story Jumper is an online publishing website that allows kids to create their own story books. You have the tools needed to create a title page, dedication page, choose a theme for your book, upload pictures, or simply use the clip art gallery provided. This tool can be used in the classroom as an english language arts activity. By having students create their own books, teachers can express the importance of correct grammar and proper sentences. This tool can be used for any grade level. In kindergarten the students could have a more picture-book based story with few words and in sixth grade students could write a book about a famous historical leader from the Civil War.

This application is a good resource to use when teaching angles. It allows graphed angles (obtuse, acute, right) to be loaded onto a digital flashcard with the definition of the type of angle and why the displayed angle is considered the angle that it is labeled. This allows students to practice the terms that were learned during a lesson on angles at anytime.
