Students will use business letters and email to recruit professional members for the Career Technical Student Organization (CTSO) using the Chamber of Commerce member listing. This lesson plan is targeted toward Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA). However, this lesson could be adapted by any CTSO.This is a Commerce and Information Technology lesson plan.

Title: "Getting the Job" - Proficiency in Composition
This is a Commerce and Information Technology lesson plan. Advanced word processing skills are a must for students entering the workforce or pursuing higher education. This lesson will help students achieve proficiency in creating effective employment correspondence. Students must demonstrate proficiency by creating a solicited letter, personal resume, and follow-up letter based on a specific job ad.
