Variation Tips (optional):

This activity can be used with any book or other media that has a theme. The teacher can provide the themes or have students choose a theme from their reading or observations to research.

I have used it with multiple novels and with different grade levels.

The activity is short and takes 30-40 minutes to complete.

Notes or Recommendations (optional):

This activity is great for involving reluctant students. It is short enough to give quick feedback. It also raises awareness of ways to use technological tools to explain themes.
