Constructions include copying a segment; copying an angle; bisecting a segment; bisecting an angle; constructing perpendicular lines, including the perpendicular bisector of a line segment; and constructing a line parallel to a given line through a point not on the line. Title: Polygon Book Project
Description:

In this activity, students will investigate patterns and relationships related to the interior and exterior angles of polygons.  Students will also use Geogebra to construct regular and irregular polygons. 

This activity results from the ALEX Resource Development Summit.

Geogebra is a free downloadable geometry software package that provides for both graphical and algebraic input.  It will allow students the opportunity to use interactive software to do constructions.
