CalcWorkshop is a subscription-based service, however, Unit Circle With Everything is a free webpage with printable PDFs. Unit Circle With Everything is a tool that can be used to study the Unit Circle and the different parts that make up the Unit Circle such as reference angles, radian measure, trigonometric ratios, and angle measurements.
This activity was created as a result of the ALEX Resource Development Summit.
The Blank Unit Circle PDF is a tool that can be used to study the Unit Circle and the different parts that make up the Unit Circle such as reference angles, radian measure, trigonometric ratios, and angle measurements. After a lesson on the Unit Circle, students will be asked to fill out the Blank Unit Circle PDF to be turned in as an Exit Ticket.
Coloring With the Unit Circle is a Google Doc tool that allows the student to study the Unit Circle and the different parts that make up the Unit Circle such as reference angles, radian measure, trigonometric ratios, and angle measurements. The student will find and color the reference angles on the unit circle.
Cutting Up With the Unit Circle is a Google Doc tool that allows the student to study the Unit Circle and the different parts that make up the Unit Circle such as reference angles, radian measure, trigonometric ratios, and angle measurements. The student will use reference angles on the unit circle to construct a sine curve. This allows the student to visualize where the graph originates.
Closing Up the Unit Circle is a Google Form that has two higher-level thinking questions as a quick assessment of learning for the lesson. This form is formatted as a quiz to be used after a lesson on modeling the sine curve and right triangles.
Desmos is a free online graphing calculator that has several mathematical applications that can be used in the classroom. The Trigonometry: Unit Circle Application is a tool that can be used to study the Unit Circle and the different parts that make up the Unit Circle such as reference angles, radian measure, trigonometric ratios, and angle measurements.
