Title: Keith Haring Dancing Drawings
Digital Tool: Break Dancing Video: Beat Street 1984 -The Roxy Battle
Digital Tool Description: Students will read Kay Haring's picture book, Keith Haring: The Boy Who Just Kept Drawing. Students will answer questions from the text. Students will identify break dancing as his inspiration. The students will watch a few minutes of a Break Dancing video from YouTube. They will draw their own dancing figure using motion lines to illustrate movement.  This activity was created as a result of the Arts COS Resource Development Summit.

Title: Groundhog's Garden Arrays

Digital Tool Description: Students will review and solve multiplication of numbers less than 100 using word problems and arrays by creating a prompted work of art. This activity was created as a result of the Arts COS Resource Development Summit.

Title: Infuse Story Sequences
Digital Tool: InfuseLearning
Digital Tool Description: InfuseLearning is a web-based student response system that allows teachers to create assessments either prior to class sessions or spontaneously during a lesson. The assessments can be administered in several formats. Some of which include multiple choice, true or false, sort in order, and open ended text answers. The Sort in Order quiz will be used for this learning asset to assess student understanding of story content and structure.

Title: Fairy tale tumbler
Digital Tool: Wordle
Digital Tool Description: Wordle is a word clould that can be created by the student or the teacher. In this instance I would ask students to create the wordle by using one word to describe the main character.

Title: Book Report? Let's Travel There Instead!
Digital Tool: Read Write Think Printing Press
Digital Tool Description: The interactive Printing Press is designed to assist students in creating newspapers, brochures, and flyers. Teachers and students can choose from several templates to publish class newspapers, informational brochures, and flyers announcing class events.
