Shape Up!  Using Food to Learn About Polygons
Overview:
This podcast is based on a section of Shape UP!  Fun With Triangles and Other Polygons  written by David A. Adler.  Students use slices of bread to make polygons, ranging from quadrilaterals to decagons.  A review of the names of the polygons is included.  It is designed to be viewed after the book is read to students and before they begin the hands-on activity.

Shape Up!! With Pretzels
Overview:
This podcast is based on activities found in David A. Adler's book Shape Up! Fun With Triangles and Other Polygons. In this podcast, we focused on types of triangles and angles. Students enjoy the hands on activities created by Mr. Adler, as well as a little snack time afterwards. This activity provides a concrete visual that students can use in other geometry activities.

This is a student-narrated PowerPoint about angles.  The student defines different types of angles such as right, acute, obtuse, straight, vertical, interior, and exterior.  She also describes angle measurement and application of angle measurement.
