Title: Writing Roulette: Walmart Sells Everything!!! 
Description: As a part of the study of Economics, the students will cooperatively write an essay using terms associated with the basics of economics.  In cooperative learning groups of four students will use a word list and prior knowledge to construct a well written essay on needs, wants, goods and services provided by a company. 

Subject: Social Studies (12)
Title: Comparative Economic Systems
Description: Students will work in cooperative learning groups to examine the similarities and differences in capitalism, socialism, and communism.  They will do research to meet specific requirements of elements that must be included in a presentation.  Students will present their work using PowerPoint or similar presentation software.

Subject: Social Studies (12), or Technology Education (6 - 12)
Title: How Are We Living?
Description: In this lesson, students collaborate to research economic systems of the United States and two other countries. Students will collect, evaluate, and synthesize information to create a multimedia presentation that compares economic systems of assigned countries, how these systems affect various factors that influence quality of life for its citizens.

Title: Xpedition Hall      Add Bookmark
Description: Built around the National Geography Standards, Xpedition Hall is a virtual museum that is filled with interactive exhibits designed to provoke reflection on how human beings shape and are shaped by the world in which we live. The Hall contains one exhibit for each of standard, and groups these exhibits into six galleries, which correspond to the standards six underlying '' elements.'' Students use can use an image or map of the Hall to navigate through the exhibits.
