Title: Recording Two Ways      Add Bookmark
Description: In this lesson, one of a multi-part unit from Illuminations, students make sets of pasta shapes, count some away, and then record the subtraction in vertical and horizontal formats. They draw a set and cross out some shapes; then, they write in both formats the subtraction that the drawing represents.
