Title: Tongue Twisters: Teaching Alliteration and Reviewing Parts of Speech
Description: Students will review the four basic parts of speech (nouns, verbs, adjectives, and adverbs) and create tongue twisters using alliteration with their names.  This is a College- and Career-Ready Standards showcase lesson plan.

Title: Twentieth Century Resumes
Description: Students will use the Alabama Virtual Library and other reference materials available in the library to create a resume for a twentieth century historical figure from United States history, science, or literature. The lesson is designed as a cooperative project between the classroom teacher and the library media specialist.
