Title: "Pocket full of Posies"
Description: The Black Death affected every member of society.  In this lesson, students will have a chance to compare it to a modern day epidemic by composing a song about this modern day epidemic with a partner.

Title: Days of Our Medieval Lives  
Description: This project is designed for a class on block scheduling with class times ranging from 60-96 minutes. Students will be assigned a character in feudal society. Through this character, students will immerse themselves in medieval culture and "live" through various scenarios and historical events.  Students will journal daily to chronicle these events and will compile these journal entries and artifacts into a scrapbook. Lastly, students will dress in character and display their scrapbooks and other items that relate to their character in a booth at the Medieval Fair.

Title: Wow! What a trip!
Description: Students are sent back in time to Europe during the Middle Ages. They will stay for five days. They are taking a camera and a journal with them. They will present their journals and their pictures to the class when they return.

Title: The Fourteenth Century
Description: Students will study the upheaval and uncertainty of living during the 14th century. They will read about the Hundred Years War, the plague, and the schism within the Catholic church.
